Summer Conference & Celebration Dinner
Join OSTA in supporting Oklahoma science teachers by sponsoring a table(s) or awards at our Celebration of Science Education dinner, hosting a vendor table at our Saturday conference, and/or donating door prizes for attendees! Registered vendors have the option to attend the banquet for an additional cost per person at the OSTA member rate.
The Celebration of Science Education dinner is Friday night, June 8th at the Tulsa Zoo. This will be a fun night filled with science experiences, with a keeper presentation and each attendee will have a day pass to the Tulsa Zoo for June 8th. During dinner, we will be recognizing our State Science Teachers of the Year (TOY) in Elementary, Middle, High School, and College/University, the New Horizons Teacher of the Year (early-career teachers), the Informal Science Educator award, and our highest honor, the Jack Renner Distinguished Service award.
The conference, Science Safari, will be Saturday, June 9th at the Learning Center at the OU-Tulsa campus . We will have an exhibitor area for vendors, sessions all day (including a strand of sessions for exploring best practices in science education and door prizes throughout the day. If you are also interested in presenting a session at our conference please let us know as soon as possible!
