Exploring New Frontiers: 2023 Summer Conference & Celebration Dinner
Join OSTA in supporting Oklahoma science teachers by sponsoring a table(s) or awards at our Celebration of Science Education dinner, hosting a vendor table at our Saturday conference, and/or donating door prizes for attendees!
The Celebration of Science Education dinner is Friday night, June 9th at the Oklahoma Science Museum. This will be a fun night filled with science experiences, as we have rented out the museum for our members to spend an evening having fun and talking with fellow educators! During dinner, we will be recognizing our State Science Teachers of the Year (TOY) in Elementary, Middle, High School, and College/University, the New Horizons Teacher of the Year (early-career teachers), the Informal Science Educator award, and our highest honor, the Jack Renner Distinguished Service award. Tables are available for sponsorship!
The conference, Exploring New Frontiers, will be Saturday, June 10th at the Betz STEM Research & Learning building on the University of Central Oklahoma's campus. We will have an exhibitor area for vendors, sessions all day (including a strand of sessions for exploring our new frontiers) and door prizes throughout the day. If you are also interested in presenting a session at our conference please let us know as soon as possible!
